01

Describe an ordinary shift

List how immediate work, pre-bookings, account jobs and exceptions enter the operation. Record the roles involved and where judgement is required. Ask shortlisted providers to demonstrate those exact scenarios.

02

Check the connections

Inventory the website, apps, telephony, payment and reporting tools the platform must connect to. Ask for documented access, commercial conditions and confirmation of which capabilities are available to your account.

03

Look beyond the demo

Review data migration, training, support coverage, escalation and the process for leaving the platform. Request a clear account of recurring costs, usage-based charges and optional modules. Do not assume a feature shown in a demo is included in the quoted package.

04

Test exceptions as carefully as success

Ask what happens when a booking is rejected, a driver loses connectivity, an update arrives twice or an external service is unavailable. A recovery process that your team can understand is as important as a fast happy path.

05

Make the choice with the users

Involve controllers, drivers, finance and management in a scored review. Capture unresolved questions and require written answers before treating the shortlist as a final decision. The accompanying comparison page is a discovery framework, not a ranking or endorsement.
